In recognition of International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, the Women and Gender Equality Commission yesterday partnered with the Civil Society National Reference Group on an initiative known as the Red Shoe Project, which kick started the observance of #16 days of activism against gender-based violence. Red shoes were yesterday displayed on the Seawall Bandstand with profiles of victims.
