Police are investigating the death of Devon Nigel Williams, a 28-year-old labourer of Lot 806 ‘C’ Field Sophia, which occurred at about 10 am yesterday.
Enquiries disclosed that Williams was living with his 52-year-old mother Dorette Anne LaRose, a clothes vendor.
According to LaRose, prior to her son’s death (at about 07:00hrs on 2024-11-22), she was at home when she received information that her son was lying under the Special Constabulary Outpost steps at Stabroek Market with what appeared to be wounds on his body.
