Pouderoyen maintained their perfect record to climb atop the standings in the West Demerara Football Association Senior Men’s League, dismantling Belle West 4-1 at the Uitvlugt Community Centre ground.

The Belle West unit secured the unlikely lead in the fifth minute via a Ben Williams strike. The conversion emanated from the corner-kick, after the defender failed to clear the danger, allowing the forward to round the advancing goalkeeper and finish into the back of the net.

It went from bad to worse for Pouderoyen as they were reduced to 10 men after Keron Boyce was issued a red card in the 12th minute.
