Thirty-eight-year-old Jason Carmichael appeared yesterday before Magistrate Fabayo Azore at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court charged with two counts of possession of ammunition without a licence.
It was alleged on November 24 2024 at Lamaha Street, Kitty he had in his possession one .38 spent shell and one .38 revolver without being the holder of a firearm licence.
He pleaded not guilty to both counts, his attorney Siand Dhurjon told the court that his client had managed to take the firearm away from another man who was seen having an altercation with a female outside of the Montra Nightclub where they all had been hanging out.
