The Ministry of Home Affairs yesterday signed $1.1b worth of contracts including for living quarters at the Mazaruni Prison.
A release from the ministry said that Permanent Secretary, Andre Ally, presided over the ceremony and underscored the government’s commitment to improving facilities across various sectors.
Ally emphasized the importance of completing the projects on time and within scope, ensuring that they align with the Ministry’s vision of delivering high-quality infrastructure. He further highlighted the need for workers to adhere to safety protocols.
