Minister of Public Works, Juan Edghill joined Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs, Anil Nandlall SC, to commission the new Port Kaituma Magistrate’s Court today.
A post on Edghill’s Facebook page said that this facility, the first of its kind in the area, will serve approximately 800 residents of Port Kaituma in the north west and a broader population of 18,000 across the region.
The court is expected to enhance access to justice, reduce travel time for legal matters, and strengthen the judicial infrastructure in the region.
