GTA Open Championship
Seanden David-Longe and Javed Khan advanced to the quarterfinal round when the Guyana Tennis Association Open continued at the National Racquet Centre on Woolford Avenue.
David-Longe defeated former champion Donnie Anderson 6/4, 6/4 in their round of 16 encounter in the men’s open division. Also, Khan overcame Devon Gonsalves 4/6, 6/4, and 6/0 in the same segment.
Meanwhile, Kareem Wilson downed Nygel Sundar 6/3 in the men’s novice’s section. Continuing in the same section, Kyle Edghill downed Elan Rahaman 6/4.
The event continues today at the same venue with another round of matches.
