The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) donated several pieces of equipment to the East Bank Demerara Football Association (EBDFA) to assist in the staging of their U-14 League Championship.
This was disclosed by a press release from the federation. According to the correspondence, the equipment, which includes balls and jerseys, was presented by GFF Technical Director Bryan Joseph to the EBDFA President Orein Angoy.
EBFA President Angoy said, “We are deeply grateful to the Guyana Football Federation for their invaluable support in providing these materials.
This contribution will undoubtedly enhance the quality of the U14 Boys League and support the development of football at the grassroots level in our region. We are committed to utilising these resources to create opportunities for our young players to grow and excel in the sport.”
Meanwhile, GFF Technical Director Bryan Joseph said, “The Guyana Football Federation is proud to support initiatives like the EBFA U14 Boys League, which align perfectly with our mission to develop football across all levels in Guyana. Regional Associations play a critical role in organising competitions, especially at the youth and grassroots levels, as they have a constitutional obligation to create opportunities for their clubs and players.”
