Three Guyanese in the form of Vice-Captain Shemaine Campbelle, Shabika Gajnabi, and Ashmini Munisar have been elected for the West Indies women’s impending tour of India, according to a press statement from Cricket West Indies.
The trio will be part of the West Indies six-match tour of India, with T20Is slated for Mumbai and One Day Internationals (ODIs) pencilled for Vadodara. The team is slated to arrive early in India for a 10-day acclimatisation camp. The ODI segment of the tour will carry crucial points for the ICC Women’s Championship.
