Dear Editor,
There has been much talk about restorative justice in Guyana and building the infrastructure to apply it. There is a defamation case going on now between prominent politicians, and state media is carrying details of the case. And the tragedy of public record and reporting of the cuss out and defamation cases are that the defamation seems to be propagated and statements repeated. Surely, the proponents of Restorative Justice can encourage these parties to find ways of repairing the harm done and creating different stories from their conflict?
