Keon Davis, a 27-year-old labourer of Maria’s Lodge, Essequibo Coast has been taken into custody following the theft of three phones from an electronics store at Suddie.
The police yesterday said that a search was conducted at his home and the three cellphones were recovered inside his bedroom.
He was told of the allegation, cautioned, arrested and taken to the Aurora Police Station.
The police said they were investigating a break-and-enter-and-larceny committed on the Enetwork Cellphone and Electronic Store, at Block C, Suddie, Essequibo Coast, which occurred on November 28th, 2024, at about 23:40 hrs.
The following items were stolen, and subsequently recovered:
** One Samsung Z fold 6 valued at $ 365,000
** One Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra valued at $200,000
** One Samsung Galaxy S24+ valued at $189,000
The building broken into is owned by Razan Ali Khan, a 66-year-old contractor.
