Last Saturday the 40 girls drawn from New Amsterdam and its  surrounding communities, converged at the Vryman’s Erven Secondary  School, where they participated in an Empowerment Seminar hosted by Barrow, in collaboration with social workers in Region Six, the Anglican Church’s Mothers Union, and Barrels of Love, a non-governmental organisation based in the United States of America.
