Traditional giants Eccles All-Stars and Village Rams were sent packing from the Ethnic Relations Commission’s (ERC) T10 Tapeball Harmony League following losses yesterday.

Village Rams were eliminated at the hands of Eccles All-Stars, who themselves were sent packing from the tournament by Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA) Warriors.

Eccles defeated the Village Rams by 42 runs. Batting first, Eccles posted an impressive 173/1 in their allotment. Jonte Thomas and Akeem Vieira tallied 80 and 56 runs, respectively. In response, Village Rams stumbled to 131/6 at the conclusion of their allocation. Antony Abrams recorded 47 runs from 19 balls.

Eccles then suffered the identical fate as they lost to CJIA Warriors. Batting first, CJIA posted 141-4, led by a 78-run assault from Avinash Mohabir. In response, Eccles were restricted to 79-7.

Meanwhile, the other teams that also progressed to the next round were the Lil Rams, Movements Family, Vikings, The Guards, Kings, and the Organisation.
