Lakshmee Bishun, a 59-year-old resident of Fifth Avenue, Bartica, appeared in the Bartica Magistrate’s Court yesterday before Magistrate Teriq Mohammed, where he was charged with driving a motor vehicle whilst his breath alcohol level exceeded the prescribed limit.
He pleaded guilty and was fined $200,000 or three months imprisonment, the police said in a statement.
