Adrian Fernandes of Team Wrecker overcame the challenge of Mohamed Ali of Team White Boys to win the Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club (GMR&SC)-organized 100 Lap Endurance Race on Sunday at the South Dakota circuit.
Fernandes stopped the clock at 2:47:32.2 to clinch the win, finishing ahead of Ali, who clocked a time of 2:47:49.7.
Twenty-nine cars featured in the event, which consisted of several categories.
Fernandes also won the 1501cc-1600cc category, finishing ahead of Mohamed Saifudeen Roshandin, who completed 99 laps. Meanwhile, Steven Nobrega (Team Secure Innovations and Concepts) won the 0-1500 class with 98 laps, beating Nyron Maraj (Team White Boy) and Azad Hassan (Team GUYOIL), who ended on 95 laps, respectively.
In the 1601cc-2000cc section, Mark Williams prevailed after recording 97 laps, while in the Unlimited class, Ali prevailed with 100 laps, finishing ahead of Rameez Mohamed (96 laps) and Reyaz Hamid (90 laps).
