Ministry seeking bids for completion of pavilions at athletic tracks in Linden, NA

The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport is seeking bids from “reputable contractors” for the completion of pavilions at the athletic tracks in Linden,  Region 10 and New Amsterdam, Region Six.

According to an advertisement in today’s Stabroek News the engineer’s estimate for the pavilion in Linden is $114m and for that in New Amsterdam $104.4m.

The ministry is also seeking the procurement and installation of 5,000 seats at the grandstand at the Albion Sports Complex and the same number at the Grandstand in New Amsterdam.

A contractor is also being sought for the construction of an asphalt parking lot at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall. The engineer’s estimate for this is $89.8m.

Tenders must be delivered to the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board  on or before 9 am on Friday, December 20, 2024.
