In a letter published in the Stabroek News on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, Ms. Annette Ferguson, M.P., alleged that the Hon. Zulfikar Mustapha, M.P., Minister of Agriculture, failed to submit requested information concerning Financial Papers 1and 2, 2024, which were considered in the National Assembly on August 9, 2024.
Our records have revealed that the Hon. Zulfikar Mustapha, M.P., submitted the requested information to the Clerk of the National Assembly on November 8, 2024. The said information was disseminated to all Members of the Opposition, including Ms. Ferguson, via both hard and soft copies on November 13, 2024.
The Parliament Office has since advised Ms. Ferguson to review all correspondence received by her on November 13, 2024, to verify the delivery of this information.
