But he does believe that technology is a tool and it is intended to make our life better, hence the newest cutting-edge platform launched yesterday at the Cara Lodge hotel in Georgetown.
Apto.ai, a platform introduced by ITE Services Inc., is now offering AI-powered solutions design-ed to revolutionize how applications are built and deployed. It offers automated code generation with a streamlined process that only requires a business idea to get started.
The platform provides both technical and non-technical users with low-code/no-code solution that accelerates development processes while maintaining high standards of code quality, security, and scalability. By way of a release, the company stated “With just 40 hours of training, users can begin building applications without needing to know any programming language or syntax. Apto.ai’s interface is specifically designed for non-technical users, allowing anyone with a business idea to create functional applications quickly and easily.”
The interface is a visual drag-and-drop interface, allowing users to create applications by simply arranging components rather than manually writing code. This interface is especially useful for citizen developer’s business professionals with domain expertise who want to create custom applications without relying on a dedicated IT team.
Additionally, Pathak during the launch stated that Apto.ai does not lock businesses into the system as it allows users to maintain full ownership of their applications’ source code, which is generated in Java, one of the most widely used and versatile programming languages. “Unlike most development platforms, you can walk away with the source code in Java (and its family) without any strings attached to ITE Services or Apto.ai,” Garish affirmed.

Speaking to the outlook of AI in Guyana Pathak stated that with the aspiration the Guyanese government has for the prosperity of Guyana he sees AI as something that is necessary and transformative.
For the development of a simple 6 months’ project the cost is estimated at US$60,000 while a similar turnkey/all-inclusive project is estimated at US$180,000 us. That’s for the turn key solution.

Software refers to the set of instructions that tells a computer how to perform specific tasks.
