Cubans to be deported are purchasing their own tickets

-court told

Two Cubans who were to be deported for overstaying their time here are going back home on their own tickets.

This was what was told yesterday to Magistrate Faith McGusty at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court by their attorney Melvin Duke.

On Tuesday, Haciel Rodriguez and Yaima Stevens along with five others appeared before the court on charges of overstaying their time in Guyana without seeking an extension. Following their admission the magistrate signed the deportation application filed against them.
