Trinidad contractor hunted down and killed

(Trinidad Express) A contractor who escaped a hit by gunmen two months ago was gunned down in Cocoyea, San Fernando, on Tuesday night.

Praimraj Heera was killed six days shy of his 45th birthday.

A police report stated Heera was standing on the Naparima Mayaro Road where he had recently started renting an apartment, when around 7 p.m. he was shot multiple times.

Police officers of the Mon Repos Police Station responded and conveyed him to the San Fernando General Hospital.

He was pronounced dead at 7.56 p.m.

Heera, a welding contractor, moved out of his home in Ben Lomond, Williamsville, after a hit on his life in October.
