KEEN 360 50-Over Championship

West Coast Warriors, VNS, and All Youths recorded comfortable wins when the West Demerara Cricket Association sanctioned KEEN 360 50-Over Championship continued.

West Coast Warriors thrashed Belle Vue by 94 runs. Batting first, the Warriors unit was bundled out for 187 in 37.5 overs. Ricardo Poloram top scored with 54 [7x6s, 1×4], while Seymour Evans supported with 42 [2x6s, 2x4s]. Adding 25 runs was Trevor Boston. Ryan Seecharran was the pick of the bowlers with 3-25, while sibling Robin Seecharran snared 2-23 and Dyal Rajpat tallied 2-26.

In response, Belle Vue was bundled out for 93 in 30.2 overs. Yogesh Sumintra battled to 40 [1×6, 4x4s], with Randy Ramroop the next best scorer with 19 runs. Troy Benn and Nicholas Lovell engineered the batting collapse as they combined for seven wickets.

Benn recorded figures of 4-10 in eight overs while Lovell tallied 3-10. Vishal Jaigobin chipped in with 2-13.

Similarly, VNS defeated Windsor Forest Vipers by eight wickets. Batting first, the Vipers were skittled for 99 in 25.5 overs. Mohammed Bacchus and Abrahim Wazidali were the only scorers of note as they tallied 19 and 17 runs, respectively.

Aditya Kadarnauth and Altaf Khan recorded figures of 2-10 apiece, while Mohan Chaitram registered 2-28. VNS, in reply, ended on 100/2 in 26.1 overs as Kadarnauth scored an unbeaten 46 [2x6s, 3x4s] while Michael Richard tallied an undefeated 14.

Meanwhile, All Youths defeated Uitvlugt via walkover after the latter failed to take the playing area at the stipulated time by the officials.
