The annual Festival of Carols will be held on Friday December 13th 2024 at 6:00 pm in the Cathedral on Brickdam.
According to Francis Canzius, the Coordinator, this will be the 53rd Festival at the Cathedral. Many Choirs/Groups and the National School of Dance will participate in an almost two-hour programme which would include community singing of carols.
The Festival was first held in December of 1968.
“With a wonderful response the Festival grew in size by participants and audience. The idea was to gather a large number of persons in the Cathedral and joyfully usher in the season of Christmas”, Canzius said.
Admission to the Festival is $500.00 per person, children twelve and under will be admitted free. There will also be door prizes for lucky ticket holders. Tickets are on sale at the cathedral and the parish office on Brickdam. As is customary donations will be solicited for programmes at the door.
