Mahdia won the maiden edition of the Ethnic Relations Commission (ERC) Harmony T10 Tapeball Championship, caging Lil Rams by 10 wickets in the final yesterday at the Everest Cricket Club ground on Carifesta Avenue and Camp Road.
Asked to pursue a target of 95, Mahdia, led by the duo of Ricardo Adams and Ershaad Ali, blasted the Region #8 outfit to the crown and the $500,000 first place prize.
Adams smashed 44 [4x4s, 3x6s] from 27 deliveries, while Ali recorded a belligerent 41 [4x4s, 3x6s] from a mere 14 balls, as they overhauled the target in 6.5 overs.
