A triangular love affair resulted in two women appearing before Magistrate Fabayo Azore charged with assaulting each other.

While the women pleaded not guilty, statements in court saw the magistrate finding them guilty and placing them on a bond to keep the peace for two years.

Tonita Glasgow and Caroline Campbell were accused of committing the offences on November 15th 2024 following a disagreement.

Glasgow told the court that Campbell had tormented her for years about her husband. She said on the day of the incident Glasgow showed up to her workplace with documents on a car her husband had bought for her. Upon seeing the documents, Glasgow said she threw them at Campbell who slapped her in return which then sparked a scuffle between the two.

Campbell on the other hand stated that she was shopping when she noticed Glasgow and approached her to have a conversation “woman to woman” and had no intentions of having a physical altercation with her.

After listening to the women the magistrate placed them on the bond.
