Jabez Jaazuel Williams, called ‘Beggie’, a 22-year-old pork-knocker of Wauna Village, Mabaruma, North West District, died after he was chopped in the neck and hand on Friday by his co-worker who has since confessed to the crime.
The incident occurred at Nassano Backdam, North West District, Region One, and the suspect, a 25-year-old pork-knocker of Pomona Housing Scheme, Essequibo Coast, is currently in custody assisting with investigation. Reports are that the incident stemmed from an argument the co-workers had at their camp.
