Dear Editor,
Since 1996, I have appealed to Government to look after the West Demerara Public Road.
My appeals, among those from others in the media, have not seen any valuable interest from the Government.
On December 13, I travelled from Patentia to Goed Intent, about two miles, and I am ashamed that the stretch of road is in such a miserable condition. Recently, a section of the road caved in. The large potholes are still there forcing vehicles to pick safe spots,
Will the Government please say something?
