The Guyana Power and Light Inc (GPL) on Friday said it is offering a total increase in salaries of 10% for workers in 2024 inclusive a of a 3% that was paid earlier this year.
In a statement, it said it wished to address and clarify recent claims made by Dawchan Nagassar, General Secretary of the National Association of Agricultural, Commercial, and Industrial Employees (NAACIE).
GPL in the statement says it fully supports the Government’s decision to grant public servants a 10% increase and is extending the same offer to NAACIE employees.
