A 63-year-old taxi driver yesterday collapsed and died at the Alberttown police station after being arrested. The incident occurred around 7:27 pm.
The man has been identified as Bryan Lychcott, of Lot 104 Meadow Brook Gardens.
According to the police, by way of a statement, Lychcott was arrested on D’Urban Street, at about 6:30 pm yesterday for alleged ‘dangerous driving’, after he hit two stationary cars on the northern side of D’Urban Street, with his motor car HB 6462.
