Omari Glasgow

Major League Soccer (MLS) outfit Chicago Fire has signed Golden Jaguars forward Omari Glasgow to a first-team contract yesterday, following his exploits with the team’s reserve squad.

This was disclosed on the club’s website. According to the post, Glasgow, who features for the club’s subsidiary outfit Chicago Fire II in the MLS Next Pro League, inks a contract that runs through to the 2026 season, with the club retaining an option for the 2027 and 2028 seasons.

Glasgow, who signed for Chicago Fire II on March 24th, 2022, and was awarded the CONCACAF Nations League Young Player of the Tournament accolade at the end of the 2023/2024 season, will occupy an international roster spot, which is essentially a quota berth for overseas players.
