‘One Guyana’ President’s Cup Squash
Jason-Ray Khalil, Alex Arjoon, and Samuel Ince-Carvahal recorded impressive wins in the men’s division when the ‘One Guyana’ President’s Cup Squash Championship continued last evening at the National Racquet on Woolford Avenue.
Arjoon defeated Matthew Phang 3-0. Arjoon raced to a 1-0 advantage following a clinical 11-2 showing in the first stanza. He then doubled his advantage in the second set following an 11-4 score. The result was then sealed in the third outing following an 11-2 score.
In similar fashion, Khalil dispatched Reagan Rodrigues in straight sets. Khalil sent a stern warning to the field as he secured the first set 11-1. He was equally clinical in the second stanza, as he doubled his advantage following an 11-2 score.
