Customers of Tuschen and Zeelugt New Housing Schemes and sections of De Kinderen are advised that the ongoing power outage is a result of a minibus colliding with a GPL pole at De Kinderen.
The Guyana Power and Light (GPL) said that teams have been dispatched to the location to carry out repairs. Remedial work is expected to take approximately four hours.
