The power failure occurred at approximately 9:40pm. At the time of the stoppage, the fourth fixture between Back Circle A and Vryheid’s Lust had commenced, with the former leading 2-0. The venue does not have a backup power source. A date for the staging of the two affected fixtures will be confirmed by the officials.
Prior to the stoppage, Stabroek Ballers B, Timehri Warriors, and Espanyol recorded contrasting wins. Stabroek Ballers B dismantled Showstoppers 7-0.
