No charge yet over three deaths on road to St Cuthbert’s

Three weeks after an accident on the trail leading to St Cuthbert’s Mission claimed the lives of three persons, no one has been charged.

Stabroek News understands that both drivers were treated at the hospital for minor injuries and later discharged. The drivers were not arrested.

On November 30, two cars were travelling in opposite directions along the trail when they collided with each other.

The police said that the accident involved motor car #PXX 4949, owned and driven at the time by Javez Simon, of St Cuthbert’s Mission, and motor car #PAE 5140, driven by Fidell of St Cuthbert’s Mission.
