Police ranks performing roadblock duties along the One Mile Bartica Potaro Road at about 1.30 am yesterday arrested a male Venezuelan who was found to be in possession of three grammes of cocaine.
The Police ranks at the roadblock observed and stopped a motor car bearing registration #PWW 1175 which was proceeding along the road.
A release from the police said that inside the vehicle were the driver, Leonid Tobin, a 47-year-old teacher and a passenger who was seated in the left rear passenger seat, who later identified himself as Ulise Mijanes, a 23-year-old Venezuelan who at the time was acting suspiciously.
