The streets were last evening filled with anticipation and festive cheer in the countdown to Christmas.

In Georgetown there was chaotic excitement along Regent Street and within the bustling Bourda Market.

Regent Street was transformed into a festive hub for the holiday season. Stores adorned with fairy lights and colourful decorations extended their opening hours to accommodate the influx of last-minute shoppers. The sidewalks teemed with people eager to find the perfect gifts and holiday essentials. Street performers added to the merriment, their drumming and dances providing entertainment for passers-by. One shopper remarked, “The energy on Regent Street during Christmas is unmatched; it’s a tradition to come out and see every year.”
