Senior Minister in the Office of the President with Responsibility for Finance and the Public Service, Dr. Ashni Singh yesterday said that a large number of public sector employees including teachers and health workers have started to receive their $100,000 cash grant.
No figure was provided by the ministry as to the total number of cheques distributed so far.
At the Ministry of Finance yesterday where Singh commenced distribution of cheques to staff of his Ministry, he used the opportunity to thank them for their hard work.
