Tucville youth charged with robbery with violence

Eighteen-year old Triston Chapman of Critchlow Circle, Tucville, Georgetown, appeared yesterday before Acting Chief Magistrate Faith McGusty at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court charged with robbery with violence.

It is alleged that on December 23 at Princes Street, Georgetown, in the company of others, Chapman robbed Evans Moses of a Samsung cellphone valued at $200,000 and $800 cash and at the time of the robbery or immediately after, subjected Moses to personal violence.

Chapman plead not guilty to the charge.
