The Female Final brought even more drama as the Lady Kanaimas took on the Lady Royals. The Kanaimas struck first, with their talismanic No. 11 finding the back of the net early in the first half. The Royals, however, refused to back down, defending staunchly to keep the halftime score at 1-0.

As the clock ticked down, the Royals found their equalizer, igniting their supporters and forcing the game into extra time. The Royals came close to snatching a winner, only to be denied by a brilliant goal-line clearance.

The defining moment came courtesy of Kanaimas’ No. 2, who unleashed a thunderous free kick to seal the game in her team’s favour. The strike sent the crowd into a frenzy and secured the championship for the Lady Kanaimas.
