Finance Minister Dr Ashni Singh yesterday told the Department of Public Information (DPI) that over 90,000 of the $100,000 cash grant cheques have been distributed and 302,000 have been printed.
Further, Guyanese who did not register for the $100,000 cash grant are urged to remain calm, as accessible walk-in locations will be set up to ensure every eligible individual registers, DPI said in a release.
So far, 412,000 Guyanese have been registered for the cash grant, he said. The registration is currently being rolled out in Regions Five and Six.
