The Competition and Consumer Affairs Commission (CCAC) of the Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce says it has launched an investigation following critical injuries to consumers and severe damage to property during the use of a particular brand of cooking gas product.
The latest incident has left an East Coast couple in critical condition at the GPHC.
The CCAC said in a press release yesterday said it had taken note of the recent incidents and extended its compassion to those affected even as it engages them privately.
