File for DPP on Five Corner shootings, ruckus

Following the hair-raising firing of guns at Five Corner, Linden on December 29, a file has been prepared for advice from the Chamber of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

Meanwhile, the two men who were nursing gunshot wounds were discharged and released on bail, according to Regional Police Division Commander, Guy Nurse.

Nurse told Stabroek News that Rondel Rodney, a 27-year-old unemployed male from Lot 265 One Mile Wismar Linden, who sustained a gunshot wound to his right leg and Glaston Bristol, a 31-year-old male from Red Crescent Road, Mackenzie, who suffered a chop wound to his head were both discharged from the hospital and were released on station bail. According to Commander Nurse, a file is being prepared to submit to the DPP.
