The community of Enterprise along the East Coast of Demerara will soon enjoy a greater sense of security with a new police outpost after President Irfaan Ali’s instruction to senior officers to establish a police outpost in the community by weekend, a Department of Public Information (DPI) release stated yesterday.

It added that the president had passed the order during a visit yesterday afternoon to the community as part of a series of community engagements to listen to concerns expressed by residents and to ensure that appropriate action was taken to address them.

“Before the end of the week, let us get an outpost here,” the president instructed senior officers at the meeting.
