Ayo Evans, a 20-year-old miner of Lot 9 Dryshore, Essequibo Coast, was arrested on 17th January 2025 and charged yesterday with inflicting grievous bodily harm.
A release from the police said that Evans appeared at the Bartica Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Teriq Mohammed where he pleaded not guilty to the charge of committing grievous bodily harm on David Torres on 17th January 2025. He was remanded to prison, and the matter is set for 11th February 2025 for continuation.
