Man gets four years for forged document

Leslie Paul who was charged with the offence of uttering a forged document, appeared yesterday before Magistrate Marissa Mittelholzer where he was found guilty and was sentence to four years imprisonment, the police said in a release.

In addition, Ann Smith, the female Guyanese who was charged with the offence of attempting to obstruct the course of justice, appeared before Magistrate Annette Singh yesterday at court 11.

The court found her guilty and she was fined $100,000  or alternatively will face six months imprisonment.
