After a hiatus of some two years, Brandon Harding is returning to the singing arena and having experienced personal growth during his well-deserved break, he is ready to shine and embrace new opportunities in the industry.

“I wanted a break to focus on myself and reconnect with family,” he shared. “While I was performing and travelling, I missed my family — my mom and my kids especially.” The hiatus allowed him to realign his priorities and discover a passion for construction, particularly painting. To add to this joyous chapter, Harding also got married during this period.

“It feels good because … back then, I was younger and lived a different lifestyle, and the music was organic and true to who I was,” he said.

His evolution as an artist is evident, especially since his last performance at a virtual concert in 2022. “Primarily, it was Ssoca music, but now I’m more well-rounded and into all genres. I feel I’ve matured musically and become a more calculated performer.”

His decision to return to music was ignited by the heartfelt calls from fans and friends missing his unique flair and stage presence. “I realized that I missed my country and my fans. They wanted the Brandon vibes back!” he exclaimed, revealing how deeply connected he feels to his audience and his roots. This reintroduction comes at a fitting time, especially during the  Mashramani celebrations, where he feels the pulse of the Guyanese culture.

Harding is ready to pick up right where he left off, armed with a new vibe that showcases his growth. “My brand is still me, but there are new elements for fans to discover,” he promised. His upcoming work is a harmonious blend of old and new, venturing into popular genres like Afrobeats that resonate widely today.

Staying relevant in a rapidly evolving industry is essential, and Harding has been proactive. “I’ve kept up with the global music trends, and I’m excited to see how my music reflects these new elements,” he noted. With a strong presence on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Spotify, and YouTube, he is set to reach a broader audience than ever before.

Despite a changing landscape, Harding said that he hasn’t faced significant challenges during his time away. “I’ve stayed active musically, writing and performing abroad while staying connected with current artists in Guyana and St Lucia,” he disclosed. His commitment to artistry remains steadfast, with an unwavering focus on what his fans want.

His distinct voice and unique songwriting style set him apart in a crowded music scene. “My love for music drives my creativity, producing songs that resonate with people,” he said passionately. Collabora-tions are on the horizon, including exciting partnerships with Jumo Primo and emerging artists competing in the Soca Monarch Competition.

With Mashramani festivities approaching, Harding’s upcoming music will encapsulate the spirit of togetherness. “My music will reflect that atmosphere—celebrating events where people come together, along with some conscious Soca tunes that cater to everyone.”

The return to the stage brings with it some pressures. “I’ve grown physically and mentally, and I’m curious to see how my fans will embrace the new me,” he said with a mix of excitement and anticipation.

As he paves a path toward his artistic legacy, Harding plans to release a Soca EP the year alongside various singles and collaborations. The future looks bright, with performances lined up at prestigious events, including a musical tribute to Bob Marley at the Pegasus Hotel on February 7, 2025, and participation in numerous Mash events.

Harding is poised for an electrifying return to the stage, ready to rekindle the magic with his fans. With his refreshing outlook and deep-rooted connections to his music, one thing is clear: we can expect some incredible rhythms and heartwarming memories as he once again claims his place in the vibrant soca music industry.
