La Grange and Leonora recorded dissimilar victories when the West Demerara Cricket Association sanctioned KEEN 360 50-Over Championship resumed.

La Grange All-Stars thrashed New Wales by 128 runs. La Grange recorded an impressive 262 all out in 46 overs as they opted to bat first. Prameraj Singh was the architect of the impressive score with 110 [5x6s, 10x4s]. He was supported by Imtiaz Ghani, who tallied 58 runs [5x6s, 3x4s], while Naresh Persaud chipped in with 22.

Kevin Lindo was the pick of the bowlers with 4-24 in seven overs. In response, New Wales were dismissed for a paltry 90 in 28.2 overs. Saif Persaud recorded 2-14. On the other hand, Leonora defeated All Youths by seven runs. Batting first, Leonora was bundled out for 153 in 23.1 overs. Imtiaz Hack top scored with 31 runs [2x6s, 3x4s], while the combination of Gerald Moonsammy and Michael Subadar tallied 29 and 26 runs, respectively.

snared 5-24. In response, the All Youths unit was skittled for 146 in 25 overs. Deoram Persaud led the batting effort with an aggressive 58 [5x6s, 4x4s]. No other batsman recorded a noteworthy score, as Shazim Alli tallied 3-20 in six overs while Amal Sumair recorded 3-40 during his spell.

Meanwhile, on January 26th, La Grange thumped Leonora by nine wickets. Batting first, Leonora was bundled out for 109 in 19.5 overs. Alli top scored with 35 runs [3x6s, 2x4s], whilst Sumair supported with 21. Ghani and Persaud snared 2-17 and 2-18 respectively.

La Grange, in reply, stormed to 110/1. Ghani was once again at his best as he tallied an unbeaten 67 [8x6s, 2x4s], with Beesham Singh contributing an undefeated 22.

Meanwhile, Meten-Meer-Zorg (MMZ) brushed aside Cornelia Ida by 100 runs. Batting first, the MMZ unit tallied 167/5 in their reduced 35-over innings. Randy Lindore led the way with 62 runs [1×6, 4x4s], while Sheldon Alexander supported with 32 [4x4s]. Adding 29 runs was Kelvin Raymond.

Aryan Persaud registered 2-12 in seven overs. In response, the CI unit was skittled for 67 in 20.4 overs. Ushadavera Balgobin top scored with 17 runs while Avishkar Ramgobin chipped in with 12. Lindore once again made his presence felt as he tallied 2-19 in six overs, with Jermaine Maxwell supporting with 2-27 in a seven-over spell.
