On Friday Deputy Commissioner ‘Administration’ Ravindradat Budhram attended the Albion Cricket Club’s 2024 Awards Ceremony at the Albion Community Centre, East Corentyne, Berbice, a release from the police said.
A product of the Albion Cricket Club, Budhram delivered the feature address, emphasizing the importance of discipline, determination, and dedication. He also stressed the value of balancing academics with sports.
Among the award recipients were Guyana Amazon Warriors star cricketer Gudakesh Motie, who was named Albion Cricketer of the Year; Veerasammy Permaul, Devendra Bishoo, Sewnarine Chattergoon, Jonathan Foo, and several promising and talented young cricketers.
The President of the Albion Cricket Club, Vemen Walter, expressed his gratitude towards Budhram, recognising his outstanding contributions to the club and the sport.
