The Petra Organization has proudly announced that outstanding junior footballer Raydon Krammer has embarked on a two-month training stint at the prestigious Academia De Futbol Real Brasil in Brazil.

Krammer, a student of Chase Academic Foundation and a native of Warawatta, Kamarang, Region Seven, earned the fully funded opportunity after being named Most Valuable Player (MVP) at the recently concluded KFC International Goodwill School Football Tournament in December last year.

The prolific young talent caught the attention of talent scout Naranda Wilson, who attended the tournament to assess the skills of the region’s top emerging players. His exceptional performance has now paved the way for him to refine his abilities at one of Brazil’s high-performance development clubs.

In a heartfelt send-off yesterday, Petra Co-Director Troy Mendonca and Krammer’s former school teacher Niel Henrito were present to wish him well as he embarked on what could be a life-changing experience.

Real Brasil will cover all expenses related to Krammer’s stay, including accommodation, meals, transportation, and training. Additionally, recognizing the importance of academics, the club has arranged for him to continue his studies as he prepares for his CSEC examinations in the coming months.

Krammer played a crucial role in leading Chase Academic Foundation to victory in the KFC International Goodwill Schools Football Tournament, where they secured the title with a triumph over St Benedict’s College of Trinidad and Tobago.

The Petra Organization extended its gratitude to KFC Guyana, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport/NSC, the Ministry of Amerindian Affairs, and other key stakeholders for making Krammer’s training opportunity possible.

“We would again like to congratulate Raydon and wish him every success during his stay in Brazil,” Petra Organization stated.
