Dear Editor, In light of the recent border incident in the Cuyuni River and offshore in the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) , it begs the question, which parent would encourage their loved one to join the Guyana Defense Force (GDF) in defense of the nation sovereignty, when since December 6, 2023 the report pertaining to the crash of the GDF Bell 412EP  helicopter, which claimed the lives of five (5)  senior servicemen, which was purportedly completed on November 13,2024 with stakeholders having sixty (60) days to review and comment or until January 13,2025  is yet to be released, as of today, March 1,2025 Sincerely, Clairmonte A.
