Guyana recorded their second loss in the men’s and women’s divisions of the Pan American Junior Hockey Challenge, losing to Venezuela and Puerto Rico, respectively, yesterday at the Sir Garfield Sobers Complex in Wildey, Barbados.

The Guyanese men’s team went down 0-1 to Venezuela. The contest, which looked destined for a draw, was decided in the final five minutes of the encounter. Fresh off their 1-2 loss to Trinidad and Tobago, the Guyanese conceded from a penalty corner in the 55th minute, as Sifrix Nal found the back of the net.
